JO ULLAH - ARTIST & AUTHOR
My writing, artwork and ideas
Self taught artist, dyslexic and addicted to creating. When I'm working on a piece of artwork I'm often writing a story in my head. When I write I can 'see' the narrative like a film.

BIO
I grew up in a quiet rural location in the borderlands between Somerset and Dorset, with plenty of time for dreaming. Unable to read books because of dyslexia, my mother read to me until I was ten. She had a strong taste for horror and mystery, with a naturally spooky mind excited by all things supernatural — these things I gladly inherited and transferred into my writing and sometimes my artwork.

The Locksmith was my first novel, Sweet Dreams my second, and I've almost finished my third. I entered The Locksmith into the Kindle Scout competition, and it won! Consequently, the eBooks are now published by Kindle Press. Sweet Dreams has won Premier Readers' and Readers' Favourite 5-star awards.
Stories have filled my head and spilt over into my dreams, waiting to be worked out on paper. I have a BA Hons English Literature and Language degree & work as an Academic Mentor in a Bristol school. I'm married, have four children, have too many pets, and live in a dusty, cluttered house in Bristol.
