Small wall hanging torsos
First I made a female torso out of red clay, which is about 10 cm tall. I put it in a Tupperware box, and pored two part mould rubber mix around it. Then I left overnight to set.
Then I pressed clay into the mould at about 1 cm thick. I let it go leather hard before removing it from the mould. Then I filled and smoothed any holes and cracks.
I did this six more times. Three I smoothed and filled holes and three I left cracked, because I liked the appearance. Then I fired them.
These are a couple I have spot painted. They have wire across the back so they can be hung on the wall!
